Race To STop Extinction - Portland Maine - 5.23.10

Thank you all for an amazing First Annual Race To Stop Extinction! We welcome your comments and suggestions as we begin to plan for next year. Talk with you soon ~Rachel

The first annual RTSE is MORE than just another 5k. It’s a concert, a mini-expo, a party and an opportunity to mingle and meet other like-minded folks. The after party will be held at Payson Park and includes live music, massage, a kids fun run, face painting, local nonprofit tables.

The race, to be held May 23, 2010 coincides with National Endangered Species Month. Fittingly, the race beneficiary for 2010 will be the Endangered Species Coalition. Your support of this race will ensure that this grass roots organization can continue to protect the species and spaces currently either threatened or endangered in the U.S.

Our aim is to run an extraordinary sustainable event that is enjoyed by all levels and ages of athletes while bringing awareness to our Endangered/Threatened Species and Places.

We are proud to be partnered with Athletes For A Fit Planet and are committed to our Pledge Of Sustainability.

I look forward to seeing you all there!

Sincerely,
Rachel Piper - Race Founder/Directorhttp://stopextinction.org/shapeimage_1_link_0
